Days like this are my absolute favourite. New vegan meals have arrived at Tesco stores across the nation and I am absolutely buzzing! Nothing beats new food choices, especially when you are vegan and especially when it is in your local supermarket (try driving 45 minutes to your nearest whole foods and paying ridiculous prices for something because it is labelled as vegan). Bonus feature .. these meals are ready meals! Need I say any more?

Wicked Kitchen was created exclusively for Tesco in collaboration with US Plant-Pushing Chef Derek Sarno and today I got to stock up and try some for myself in collaboration with Tesco! I made (i.e. heated!) up the Curried Cauli, Onion Bhaji curry, the BBQ Mushroom Sourdough Pizza and the Tofu Slaw Sandwich! Take a look below. As much as I love making my food myself from scratch, I love the convenience of vegan meals like this so I can grab and take them on the go – if you have a microwave at work it is absolutely ideal! I love the hassle free convenience of food that needs just a few minutes in the microwave or if you are after a flavour packed sandwich it is ready to eat right out the pack!

These meals were also super affordable at just £3-£4 per one!

The pizza was by far my favourite, and I don’t even like mushrooms! In just 8 minutes this pizza came out of the oven crispy and pipping hot, perfect lunch time munch!

Whoever said vegan food is boring, definitely didn’t know what to eat. I am so happy that Tesco have expanded their meal selection to house this amazing range of vegan meals! Make sure you pop into your local Tesco or shop online to try them for yourself and be sure to comment what you think!

The boxed meals for the microwave are just as delicious as the oven cooked pizza, which was also just as delicious as the refrigerated sandwich!! If I had to pick just one for you to try I would say the pizza as it is a little different and it’t not everyday you get to have vegan pizza for lunch for £4 from your local supermarket!
